Ayo’s film “After The Hunt” was released on Prime the other day. I did enjoy Ayo’s performance but I wish she had been given a bit more. I would have liked to know more of her thoughts and how she is dealing with everything.
I know a lot of people didn’t like that the audience doesn’t really find out what truly happened but that is actually the reality of sexual misconduct/assault. Unless there is video evidence (which there rarely ever is), the only people who know what happened are the ones involved. Like Luca could have shown us a flashback of what truly happened because as an audience that is usually what we get from a film but it is also not real life which I guess was one of the points of the film.
