It might be the end-of-year euphoria talking, but the most influential women in Hollywood sound downright bullish on the industry’s future. And why not? Facing consolidation and tighter budgets, those creating, funding and toplining film and TV delivered box office optimism and streaming breakouts. In THR’s annual survey of the most powerful females in entertainment, this year’s honorees discuss how they got it done while revealing the trends they’re ready to let die, confess their AI flirtations and much, much more.

METHODOLOGY: When choosing the Power 100, editors consider portfolio sizes, box office, series loads, viewership, awards, deals, employees overseen, revenue generated, platform subscriber counts, spending power and, crucially, whether we’d pick up their call or send them to voicemail.

She sleeps, right? In 2025 alone, the ever-ubiquitous Edebiri starred in the thriller flick Opus, Luca Guadagnino’s After the Hunt, James L. Brooks’ Ella McCay and season four of The Bear — earning another Emmy nomination for her performance. Speaking of Emmys, she also got a nom for her directorial debut in season three. Up next: co-headlining Will Sharpe’s Apple TV two-hander, Prodigies, and her Broadway debut. She’ll star in the latest production of Proof come spring.
